The Public Works Department (PWD), under the P.W. (Roads) Directorate of the West Zone and Western Highway Circle–II, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of select stretches of the Pandua–Kalna Road (MDR) in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. The project has been valued at ₹22,78,01,442. Upon necessary approvals and contract finalization, the work is expected to begin soon, contributing to robust infrastructure development in Hooghly district.
