The PWD – CE & AS, ACE Jaipur II, SE Alwar, and TA-SE Alwar invited a tender for the Widening and Strengthening of the Pratapgarh–Ajabgarh–Dausa Road from Km 0/00 to Km 25/00 (SH-77). This important state highway serves as a key connectivity corridor between Pratapgarh, Ajabgarh, and Dausa, supporting daily travel, rural access, and regional commercial movement. Upgrading this 25 km stretch has become essential due to increasing traffic volume and the need for safer, smoother, and more durable road infrastructure.
The project aims to improve transport efficiency and enhance the overall road network strength in the Alwar–Dausa region. Better connectivity on SH-77 is expected to reduce vehicle operating costs, improve accessibility to markets and public services, and support socio-economic development across multiple villages along the route. Strengthening the existing carriageway will also help ensure long-term road sustainability and reduce maintenance requirements.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 15th September 2025 by PWD authorities under the Jaipur II Zone. Among all participants, M/s Ram Khiladi Meena emerged as the lowest bidder, securing the opportunity to execute the project. The project value is finalized at ₹318,845,849.5, indicating the scale and importance of the proposed improvements on this state highway.
