M/s Raisingh and Company Got A Project: Widening and Reconstruction of Singodi Hiwarkhedi, Manegaon, Pipariya, Gumani, Akalma, Khursipar, Khireti Road

The Public Works Department (PWD) – Roads and Bridges, under the Chief Engineer, Central Zone, Jabalpur, has invited a tender for the widening and reconstruction of the Singodi–Hiwarkhedi–Manegaon–Pipariya–Gumani–Akalma–Khursipar–Khireti Road, with a total length of 28.30 km, including electrification work. This tender has been issued as a 2nd Call, aiming to strengthen a key road corridor in the region.
The proposed project involves widening and reconstruction of the existing road to improve its structural capacity, riding quality, and safety standards. Inclusion of electrification work will further enhance visibility and road safety, especially during night-time travel. This road serves multiple villages and plays a vital role in facilitating movement of residents, agricultural produce, and commercial traffic, thereby supporting regional economic activity.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 26th December 2025 by PWD – Roads and Bridges, CE Central Zone, Jabalpur. After evaluation of the bids received, M/s Raisingh and Company emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project. The tendering process was conducted as per established procurement norms to ensure transparency and fair competition.
The total project cost is Rs. 576,322,509.7, reflecting a significant investment in road infrastructure development. Upon completion, the project is expected to improve connectivity, reduce travel time, enhance road safety, and provide long-term infrastructure benefits to the surrounding areas.
