The Public Works Department (PWD), under the Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), through the Additional Chief Engineer (ACE), Kota, Superintending Engineer (SE), Kota, and Executive Engineer, District Kota, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of multiple road stretches under MDR-377 in the State of Rajasthan. The project covers key routes connecting Sunel to Karodiya, Unhel to Osav to Pirawa, and several village corridors extending up to the Madhya Pradesh border.
The scope of work includes road stretches from Km 0/00 to 12/00, 17/200 to 26/00, 29/600 to 61/150, and 70/500 to 77/050, passing through Odiya, Kherito, Kotri, Govindpura, Karawan, Dhaturiya, Bani, and Singhpura. These roads serve as vital links for rural connectivity, agricultural transport, and inter-state movement between Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
The financial bid for the tender opened on 3rd October 2025, under the administration of the PWD Kota Zone. Owing to the project’s extensive length and strategic importance, it attracted participation from experienced contractors. After evaluation of bids, M/s Pawan Kumar Jain emerged as the lowest bidder.
The total project value is Rs. 844,913,189.1, representing a major investment in regional road infrastructure. Once completed, the upgraded MDR-377 corridor will improve safety, reduce travel time, and enhance economic connectivity across the Kota region.
