The Public Works Department (PWD), through the P.W. (Roads) Directorate, PW(R)(PIU), Project Implementation Unit-I, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of the Domkal–Garaimari Road. The project covers a stretch from 0.00 km to 15.00 km under Berhampore Division No-II, in the district of Murshidabad. This is the second call for the tender.
The scope of work includes widening the existing carriageway from 5.50 meters to 7.00 meters, strengthening the road surface, and constructing eight cross-drainage (CD) structures. In addition, the project involves 525 meters of protection works and 800 meters of drainage works, ensuring long-term durability and enhanced safety for road users.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 7th July 2025 by officials of the PWD. The bidding process was conducted transparently, with an emphasis on competitive participation and technical compliance.
