The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE (P) Chetak, Bikaner, has invited a tender for road surfacing works aimed at strengthening connectivity in Rajasthan. The project falls under the operational jurisdiction of 95 RCC/45 BRTF, highlighting its importance for border-linked infrastructure.
The scope of work includes providing and laying of WMM, DBM, and BC layers along with cleaning, priming, tack coat application, and road markings. These measures are intended to improve durability, riding quality, and overall safety of the road.
The designated stretch covers KM 10 to KM 20 on the Ramdevra–Nachna road, a route of strategic importance for regional and defence mobility. The surfacing improvements will ensure enhanced connectivity and long-term sustainability.
The financial bid was opened on 20th August 2025 by BRO authorities. Among the bidders, M/s Om Prakash Jain and Company quoted the minimum value, securing consideration for project execution.
The sanctioned project value stands at ₹97,452,948.4 (₹9.74 crore approx.), reflecting a strong investment in defence-linked road infrastructure.
