M/S Makhan Lal Contractor Got A Project: UG of 1 Chowke Dhade Baliianwali Daulatpura Gill Khurd Chak Bakhtu Road 2 Ballianwali Nandgarh Kotra road to Maur Rampura road via Mandi Khurd, Ramnagar

The CE-PWD (B and R), through its Construction Circle–Bathinda under Provincial Division–Bathinda, invited a tender for the upgradation (UG) of key rural road links under Package G-2. The project is designed to enhance connectivity, improve road safety, and facilitate smoother transportation for residents and commercial traffic in the region.
The scope of work includes the upgradation of: (1) Chowke–Dhade–Ballianwali–Daulatpura–Gill Khurd–Chak Bakhtu Road; (2) Ballianwali–Nandgarh–Kotra Road to Maur–Rampura Road via Mandi Khurd and Ramnagar; and (3) Kuttiwal Kalan to Kuttiwal Khurd. These routes serve as vital links for local villages, supporting agricultural movement, daily commuting, and regional trade activities.
The project also includes a comprehensive maintenance clause for five years, comprising one year of Defect Liability Period followed by four years of routine maintenance. This ensures long-term durability, quality assurance, and sustained performance of the upgraded road infrastructure.
The financial bid was opened on 9th January 2026 at the office of Construction Circle–Bathinda. Among the participating bidders, M/S Makhan Lal Contractor quoted the minimum value and emerged as the lowest bidder.
The total sanctioned cost of the project stands at ₹15 crore.
