The Public Works Roads Department has issued a tender for the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) to replace the existing railway level crossing at Gate No. ST-133 (Railway Km-498/7-8) on the Namrup–Naharkatiya Road in Dibrugarh District. This project falls under the initiative for Construction of ROBs on a 50:50 cost-sharing basis, a collaborative model aimed at improving transportation infrastructure and safety.
