The Chief Engineer, Moradabad Zone, PWD Moradabad, UP, in coordination with the Moradabad Circle PWD Moradabad and Provincial Division PWD Moradabad, has floated a tender for repair and reinforcement works on critical stretches of National Highway-734 under Package-2. The project focuses on strengthening the old portions of the newly proposed bypasses, including Bhojpur Bypass, Jatpura Bypass, and Lungi Khurd.
The aim of this initiative is to enhance the structural integrity and durability of the existing road infrastructure. By reinforcing the older parts of these key bypass routes, the Public Works Department seeks to improve road safety, support smoother traffic flow, and prepare the highway for increased vehicular load in the coming years.
The financial bid for the project was opened on April 30, 2025. Oversight of the bidding process was carried out by the Chief Engineer, Moradabad Zone, with support from the Moradabad Circle and Provincial Division. Among the competing contractors, M/S M A Developers and Engineers emerged as the lowest bidder.
The total estimated cost of the project is ₹22,74,44,763. The work is expected to begin following official approvals and issuance of the work order, contributing to improved highway infrastructure in the region.
