M/s Jai Prakash Singh Contractor Got A Project: Widening and strengthening work from Km 1 to 9 of Uttaraula Tulsipur

The Chief Engineer, Devipatan (Gonda) Zone, PWD Gonda, along with the Superintending Engineer, Gonda Circle, PWD Gonda, has invited a tender for the Widening and Strengthening work from Km 1 to 9 of the Uttaraula–Tulsipur Road (ODR). This road plays a vital role in providing regional connectivity between Uttaraula and Tulsipur, facilitating smooth movement for residents, traders, and daily commuters across the area. The proposed upgrade aims to improve road safety, enhance ride quality, and support local economic activity.
The project includes widening the existing road width, strengthening pavement layers, improving surface durability, and developing proper drainage systems along vulnerable stretches. Additional works such as shoulder improvement, cross-drainage structures, and road safety installations are planned to meet operational and structural requirements. These improvements will create a more resilient and efficient route capable of handling increasing traffic loads.
The financial bid opening is scheduled for 24th September 2025, under the supervision of the Chief Engineer, Devipatan Zone, and the SE, Gonda Circle. During financial evaluation, M/s Jai Prakash Singh Contractor emerged as the bidder with the minimum quoted value, meeting the tender’s competitive and technical conditions.
The total project value is ₹185,398,795.8, reflecting a significant investment toward strengthening this key ODR link. Once completed, the upgraded stretch will improve accessibility, reduce travel time, and boost socio-economic connectivity between Uttaraula and Tulsipur.
