The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, in collaboration with ACE-Ajmer, SE-Shahpura, and EE-Shahpura, has issued a tender for the widening and strengthening of a key road section on MDR-165. The project involves upgrading the stretch from Khayada Chouraha to Dungari Chouraha, covering a distance from Km 22/0 to Km 34/0, in the Sanganer Dhikola region.
This road upgradation is crucial for improving transportation infrastructure in the area. Once completed, the widened and strengthened road will ease vehicular movement, reduce congestion, and support safer and more efficient travel. It will also benefit local residents and commercial transporters by enhancing connectivity to nearby towns and trade routes.
The financial bid for this infrastructure project was officially opened on 28th March 2025. The process was overseen by the Ajmer zone authorities under PWD – CE AND AS, with participation from several eligible construction firms.
M/s Bhawani Construction emerged as the lowest bidder for the project. The total estimated cost is approximately ₹18.30 crore (₹183,030,157.3), indicating a significant investment in road improvement aimed at long-term benefits for the region.
