The Public Works Department (PWD), under the Roads Directorate and Project Implementation Unit-I (PIU), has invited a key infrastructure tender for road strengthening in Kalimpong district. This project falls under the RIDF-XXX scheme, focusing on improving rural road connectivity in hilly regions of West Bengal.
The tender covers the strengthening of the Sangsay Fatak to Tar Khola Road, stretching from 0.00 kmp to 11.754 km. This road is vital for local transport and access to remote settlements, especially in challenging terrain. The upgrade will significantly improve road safety and long-term durability.
