The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), through its P4 Delhi division and RO Jaipur office, invited a tender for the balance work of constructing a two-lane road with paved shoulders for the Kawai Bypass in Rajasthan. The project is part of the Annual Plan 2024–25 and is being implemented under the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode.
The proposed bypass is located on National Highway 752, stretching from km 41.560 to km 50.650, with a total design length of 8.700 kilometers (Design Chainage 0.000 to 8.700). This infrastructure upgrade aims to decongest local traffic, improve connectivity, and support regional development in the Kawai area.
The financial bid for the project was opened on April 9, 2025. The process was overseen by MoRTH’s P4 Delhi office and the Regional Office in Jaipur. Several construction firms participated in the bidding process, reflecting the project’s importance in enhancing Rajasthan’s road infrastructure.
Among the bidders, M. M. Construction Company quoted the lowest price for the project. The estimated value of the contract is ₹49,67,88,950. Once completed, this bypass will significantly improve traffic flow and provide a safer, more efficient transport route.
