The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, in collaboration with ACE Jaipur II, SE Rural Jaipur, and EE Bassi, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of several vital road stretches across Jaipur district. The proposed works include the Rajpurawas Tala to Shahpura Tehsil Border Road, Kankrela Mod Bhanpur Kalan Road to Jamwa Ramgarh, Nabhawala to Neemla Road (MDR-29), Sannata Ghati to Chawandiya Dhamsya Road, and Nakchi Ghati to Dausa (MDR-152) Road. These upgrades aim to enhance road durability, improve traffic flow, and strengthen regional connectivity across multiple key routes.
The project’s objective is to ensure smoother mobility, support rural development, and boost economic activity by providing improved road infrastructure that links villages, markets, and district centers. With advanced construction standards and better road safety measures, the project is expected to significantly reduce travel time and vehicle maintenance costs.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 12th September 2025 by the PWD – CE and AS, and the lowest bid was submitted by Latala Construction Co. The total project value is ₹554,120,098 (₹55.41 crore).
