Latala Construction Co. Got A Project: Rejuvenation and Development of Nallah from Goner Road to Ring Road

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA), through the Director – Engineering-I, S.E.-01, and Executive Engineer – HQ, has invited a tender for an important urban infrastructure project aimed at improving drainage and environmental sustainability in Jaipur. The initiative focuses on the rejuvenation and development of the nallah (drainage channel) from Goner Road to Ring Road, located in Zone 10 of the JDA jurisdiction. This stretch is a critical water-carrying channel that affects stormwater flow, urban hygiene, and local ecosystems.
The project proposes extensive development works to enhance the structural stability, flow capacity, and overall environmental condition of the nallah. Key components include cleaning, reshaping, strengthening embankments, constructing protective structures, and improving water movement. Once completed, this rejuvenated drainage corridor will help reduce urban flooding, promote better wastewater management, and contribute to improved public health conditions in the surrounding residential and commercial areas.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 12 October 2025, supervised by the concerned authorities of JDA. The project witnessed participation from multiple contractors due to its significance in strengthening Jaipur’s urban drainage infrastructure. Opening the financial bid marks a major step toward awarding the contract and beginning on-ground execution.
Among all the bidders, Latala Construction Co. quoted the minimum value and emerged as the lowest bidder. The total estimated project value stands at Rs. 32,51,52,371.2, highlighting a substantial investment in urban rejuvenation and long-term city development.
