Lakhlan Construction Company Got A Project: CONSTRUCTION OF GEETA BHAVAN AT UJJAIN

The Directorate of Town and Country Planning in coordination with the Ujjain Development Authority invited a tender for the Geeta Bhavan Ujjain. The project aims to construct a dedicated cultural and religious facility in Ujjain, enhancing the city’s spiritual and tourism infrastructure. Ujjain, being a prominent religious destination, is expected to benefit significantly from this development.
The proposed Geeta Bhavan will be developed as a modern structure designed to host religious gatherings, cultural events, and community activities. The project will include halls, administrative spaces, and other supporting infrastructure to accommodate visitors and devotees. Additionally, essential services such as water supply, electricity, sanitation, and aesthetic enhancements will be incorporated to ensure functionality and comfort.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 24 February 2026 by the Directorate of Town and Country Planning along with the Ujjain Development Authority. Several contractors participated in the bidding process, and after evaluation of financial proposals, Lakhlan Construction Company emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for the execution of the project.
The total project value is Rs. 528,480,323.1, reflecting a significant investment in cultural infrastructure development. Once completed, the Geeta Bhavan at Ujjain will serve as an important venue for religious and social events, contributing to tourism growth and enhancing the cultural identity of the city.
