The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE AND AS, in collaboration with ACE Bharatpur, SE Bharatpur, and EE Bharatpur-I, has floated a significant tender aimed at enhancing connectivity in the Bharatpur region. This project is a key infrastructure initiative focused on the construction of a four-lane road connecting the Bharatpur Railway Station to the Mathura Bypass on SH-01.
The proposed work pertains to a left-out portion of the Bharatpur-Mathura Road, a crucial arterial route that plays a vital role in interstate and intra-city traffic movement. The development of this stretch is expected to decongest traffic, enhance safety, and support local commerce.
The tender was officially invited by the concerned PWD divisions, with the financial bid opening scheduled for 19th June 2025. Several contractors participated in the bidding process, indicating keen industry interest in this high-value road development project.
After evaluation of bids, Kamal Builders emerged as the lowest bidder for the project. Their quoted amount has been finalized at Rs. 19,55,72,823.4, reflecting both competitive pricing and technical qualification.
This road construction project marks a continued push by the Rajasthan government to upgrade key highway links and improve regional mobility, especially in growing urban zones like Bharatpur.
