The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, along with ACE Bharatpur, SE Bharatpur, and EE Bharatpur-I, invited a tender for the widening and strengthening work from Titraka (MDR-319) to Bhagoda (MDR-200) via Dotana, Berla, Jairoli, and Thons, covering a total stretch from Km 0/0 to 14/0. This project aims to enhance regional connectivity and improve the durability and riding quality of the road infrastructure in Bharatpur district.
The work involves widening existing carriageways, strengthening the pavement layers, and upgrading associated road facilities to ensure smoother traffic movement and long-term sustainability. Once completed, the project will ease local transportation, support rural development, and contribute to economic activities by improving access between major routes and connecting villages.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 15th September 2025 by PWD – CE and AS, and the lowest bid was submitted by Kamal Builders. The total estimated project cost stands at ₹186,802,048.8 (₹18.68 crore).
