The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, through its Institute Works Department, invited a tender for the planning, designing, approval, and construction of Lecture Hall Complex-2 (G+1) at its campus. The project will be executed on an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) mode and includes comprehensive responsibilities from conceptual planning to final execution, along with the development of BIM (Building Information Modelling) models.
The scope of work covers complete civil construction along with electrical and mechanical (E&M) works, utility services, and integration of modern infrastructure as per the conceptual design. The lecture hall complex is intended to enhance academic infrastructure by providing advanced teaching spaces, improved capacity, and technologically equipped learning environments for students and faculty.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 5 February 2026 by IISER Bhopal. Following the evaluation of bids, Kalsi Brothers emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 530,168,294.4, indicating a substantial investment in higher education infrastructure. Upon completion, the new lecture hall complex will significantly boost the institute’s academic capabilities and support its growing educational and research activities.
