The Haryana Government through the Engineer-in-Chief PW(B and R) Department has invited a tender for the strengthening of the Kond Munak Salwan Assandh road (MDR 114) in Karnal district. The project covers the stretch from Km 0.00 to Km 37.850 and aims to improve the road’s surface quality, enhance safety, and ensure smoother travel for commuters and transporters using this vital regional link.
The work will be executed under the supervision of SE Karnal and EE PD-2 Karnal. The proposed strengthening measures will include advanced bituminous layers designed to increase the road’s durability and load-bearing capacity. This will support both local and heavy vehicular movement, thereby promoting safer and faster connectivity across the district.
The financial bid for this project was opened on 25th August 2025. Among the competing bidders, K K Boora Construction Co quoted the lowest bid. The total project value stands at ₹20,96,22,643.4, highlighting the state’s continued investment in critical road infrastructure to boost regional development.
This initiative reflects the government’s ongoing commitment to modernizing key road networks and enhancing transportation efficiency across Haryana.
