K.K. Boora Construction Co. Got A Project: Strengtheningof road from Kond Munak Salwan Assandh (MDR 114) Km. 0.00 to 37.850 in Karnal Dist

The Haryana Government, through the Engineer-in-Chief, PW (B & R) Department, SE Karnal, and EE PD-2 Karnal, has invited a tender for the Strengthening of the Kond–Munak–Salwan–Assandh Road (MDR-114). The project covers the stretch from Km 0.00 to Km 37.850 in Karnal District and is aimed at upgrading and reinforcing one of the district’s key medium-distance regional routes. This initiative is part of Haryana’s continuous road infrastructure development and maintenance program.
The proposed work involves pavement strengthening, re-laying of bituminous layers, shoulder improvement, and correction of surface irregularities to ensure enhanced riding quality. The strengthening will include modern road construction materials and techniques to improve structural integrity, extend road life, and reduce future maintenance requirements. Drainage and safety measures such as signage, markings, and guard stones will also be incorporated.
Once completed, the project will improve connectivity between the towns of Kond, Munak, Salwan, and Assandh, which serve as vital agricultural and trade routes. It will facilitate the smooth flow of traffic, reduce travel time, and support local economic activities by improving the link between rural areas and district centers.
The financial bid opened on 25th October 2025, with K.K. Boora Construction Co. quoting the lowest value for the contract. The total cost of the project stands at Rs. 20,96,22,643.4, marking a key investment in Karnal’s regional road strengthening program.
