The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL), through its Corporate Office in New Delhi, has invited a tender for the strengthening of the Churachandpur–Imphal section of Old NH-150 (New NH-02). The project covers the stretch from Churachandpur Police Station (km 402+000) to Malom Oil Depot Gate (km 454+798), in the state of Manipur. The work will be executed on EPC mode under NH(O)-NE, with a total length of 53.400 km.
This project is of high strategic and regional importance as it strengthens one of the key highway corridors in Manipur, enhancing both civilian and logistical connectivity. The upgraded stretch will ensure safer travel, reduced maintenance costs, and better support for economic growth and security in the region.
The financial bid for this project was opened on 4th July 2025 by NHIDCL officials. The bidding process followed transparent evaluation standards to ensure fair competition among the participating firms.
Jayshree International emerged as the lowest bidder for the contract. Their proposal was found technically suitable and financially competitive, making them the likely executor of the project.
The total value of the project, as quoted by Jayshree International, is ₹46,99,49,770, marking a significant investment in strengthening national highway infrastructure in Manipur.
