The Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA), Pune, has invited a tender for the construction of concrete roads in the PMR region, specifically in Taluka Haveli, District Pune. The project also includes a 10-year maintenance period, ensuring long-term durability and sustained service quality of the newly developed road infrastructure across the rapidly urbanising metropolitan area.
The proposed concrete road works aim to strengthen internal connectivity, improve riding quality, and reduce recurring maintenance requirements commonly associated with bituminous roads. Given Haveli taluka’s growing residential, commercial, and industrial activity, the project is expected to significantly enhance traffic movement and provide reliable access for daily commuters and freight transport.
The financial bid for this tender opened on 27th October 2025, under the authority of PMRDA, Pune. Due to the project’s integrated construction and long-term maintenance scope, it attracted competitive participation from experienced infrastructure contractors. After the evaluation of bids received, J P Enterprises emerged as the lowest quoting bidder.
The total project value stands at Rs. 482,072,253.9, reflecting a substantial investment in sustainable urban road development. Upon completion, the project will improve road longevity, enhance commuter safety, and support planned metropolitan growth within the Pune Metropolitan Region.
