The Public Works Department (PWD) under the Chief Engineer and Additional Secretary (CE & AS), Jodhpur, in collaboration with ACE Jodhpur and SE Jodhpur, has invited a tender for a major road development initiative in Jalore district, Rajasthan. The proposed project involves the widening and strengthening of the Sanderao–Mokalsar road (MDR-203), covering multiple stretches across Km 19/0 to 37/0, 47/0 to 58/0, 65/0 to 75/0, and 77/0 to 87/0.
This road is an important medium-density route that supports daily transport, agriculture, and trade in the region. The proposed improvements will boost load capacity, safety, and longevity of the roadway, contributing to smoother connectivity between key rural and urban clusters in Jalore.
The financial bid for this tender was officially opened on 1st May 2025, drawing participation from numerous qualified contractors. The keen interest reflects growing momentum in Rajasthan’s infrastructure modernization efforts, particularly in strengthening rural road networks.
After a competitive evaluation process, Heera Ram Godara was declared the lowest bidder, positioning him for project execution. The total estimated project cost is ₹50,91,43,946, marking a significant investment in regional development and connectivity enhancement.
