Heera Ram Godara Got A project:SH-68 Dangiyawas Khejarli Guda Mogra Salawas Luni Dhundhara Rampura Samdari Balotra Road

The Public Works Department (PWD), under the jurisdiction of CE and AS||ACE – Jodhpur||SE – Barmer||EE – Balotra, has floated a tender for a significant road infrastructure project in Rajasthan. The scope of the tender includes development and strengthening works along State Highway 68 (SH-68), specifically between Km 72/00 to 76/00 and Km 82/00 to 127/00. This stretch covers critical access through Dangiyawas, Khejarli, Guda Mogra, Salawas, Luni, Dhundhara, Rampura, Samdari, and Balotra.
The project aims to enhance road quality and regional connectivity across western Rajasthan, facilitating smoother transportation of goods and passengers. Upgrading this highway segment is expected to reduce vehicle operating costs, travel time, and traffic bottlenecks—particularly benefiting trade and local commuters. The tender outlines pavement strengthening, resurfacing, and safety enhancements to ensure longevity and performance of the road.
The financial bid for the project opened on April 23, 2025, with several contractors participating. Among the bidders, Heera Ram Godara quoted the lowest amount, making him a frontrunner for securing the contract. The estimated cost of the project stands at Rs. 43,46,33,838, reflecting the scale and importance of this infrastructure improvement initiative.
Once completed, this development will contribute significantly to the economic growth of the Barmer and Jodhpur divisions. It aligns with Rajasthan’s ongoing efforts to modernize state highways and boost inter-district connectivity in the region.
