The Road Construction Department Jharkhand under Engineer in Chief RCD Jharkhand and RCD Chief Engineer Communication invited a tender for the Raghunathpur to Barmasia Road Strengthening Project. The project involves Improvement of Riding Quality Programme (IRQP) and strengthening work of Raghunathpur to Barmasia Road with a total length of 26.525 km under Road Division Dumka for the year 2025–26.
The scope of work includes strengthening of the existing road pavement, improvement of riding quality, repair and rehabilitation of damaged stretches, drainage-related works, and other allied civil works. The project aims to enhance road durability, improve connectivity, and provide safer and smoother transportation facilities in the Dumka region.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 8 May 2026 by the RCD authorities. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, H N Choudhary Construction Private Limited emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 257,078,373.8, reflecting an important investment in road infrastructure improvement. Upon completion, the strengthened road will improve travel efficiency, reduce maintenance requirements, and support regional development.
