The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE(P) Udayak (Doom Dooma), invited a tender for the construction of the Dong–Jachep Road in Arunachal Pradesh under Project Udayak. The proposed work involves building a greenfield road alignment to NHSL (National Highway Single Lane) specifications, spanning from Km 15.000 to Km 45.000, making the net design length 30.000 km.
This new greenfield road is expected to significantly improve connectivity in remote and strategically sensitive regions of Arunachal Pradesh. The project will facilitate better access for both civilians and defense personnel while contributing to infrastructure development under India’s border area development initiatives.
