The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, through the office of the Director and the Dy. Registrar (Stores), Central Store Purchase Section, invited a tender for the construction of a residential building (3B + Ground + 11 floors) at its Extension Campus in Sector-3, R.K. Puram, New Delhi. The project is aimed at strengthening residential infrastructure within the campus to accommodate faculty and staff.
The scope of work includes the construction of a multi-storey residential complex along with all allied services such as internal water supply, sanitation systems, electrical installations, fire safety systems, lifts, and other essential infrastructure. The development is designed to provide modern and efficient housing facilities, aligned with institutional standards and urban infrastructure requirements.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 27 February 2026 by IIT Delhi authorities. After evaluation of bids submitted by various contractors, Globe Civil Projects Limited emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 988,483,276.2, reflecting a significant investment in campus infrastructure. Upon completion, the residential building will enhance accommodation capacity and improve the overall living standards for faculty and staff at the IIT Delhi Extension Campus.
