The Public Works Building and NH Department (PWBNH), through the office of the Chief Engineer (Building), invited a tender for the construction of a Skill Training Institute at Doomdooma in Tinsukia district, Assam. The project is being executed under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Mode-I, ensuring integrated responsibility for design, execution, and delivery.
The scope of work includes the construction of institutional buildings along with all associated infrastructure such as classrooms, training facilities, administrative blocks, electrical systems, water supply, sanitation, and other essential services. The institute is aimed at enhancing skill development infrastructure and providing modern training facilities to support workforce development in the region.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 7 March 2026 by the PWBNH department. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Ganpati Construction Company emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 390,830,000, reflecting a significant investment in educational and skill development infrastructure. Upon completion, the Skill Training Institute will play a crucial role in promoting vocational training, improving employability, and supporting economic growth in Tinsukia district.
