The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, through P5 Delhi / LWE – MoRTH, RO Raipur – MoRTH, and NH Chhattisgarh PWD–Raipur – MoRTH, has invited a tender for a crucial highway development project in Chhattisgarh. The work involves the construction and up-gradation of the Kutul to Nilangur (Maharashtra Border) Road on NH-130D, falling under Package-4 (Part-1). This stretch is strategically important as it supports interstate connectivity and boosts regional mobility.
The project covers Km 90.990 to Km 98.160, with a total length of 7.170 km, planned to be upgraded to a two-lane highway with paved shoulders. This upgrade aims to enhance traffic flow, road safety, and logistics movement along the LWE-affected region, contributing to long-term infrastructure strengthening under MoRTH’s national highway development programme.
The tender’s financial bid opened on 12th September 2025, handled by the respective MoRTH authorities from Delhi and Raipur. Among all participants, Ganesh Prasad Khetan quoted the minimum bid, positioning the firm as the likely contractor for project execution.
The project carries a sanctioned value of ₹50,07,82,395, reflecting MoRTH’s continued investment in upgrading national highway corridors within Chhattisgarh and ensuring better regional connectivity.
