The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), through its Engineering Department, invited a tender for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for the design and construction of a flyover at Kalyan Phata Junction on Old NH-04. The project is aimed at easing traffic congestion, ensuring smoother vehicular flow, and improving connectivity between key routes in the Thane region. Once completed, the flyover will significantly reduce travel time and enhance overall traffic efficiency in the bustling Kalyan–Shil corridor.
The consultancy work involves comprehensive project management, supervision, and quality assurance for the flyover’s design and construction phases. This will help maintain strict adherence to technical specifications, safety norms, and timelines, ensuring the project’s effective execution under MMRDA’s infrastructure development program.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 10th September 2025 by the MMRDA Engineering Department, where Ekam Venture emerged as the lowest bidder. The total project value is ₹1,66,59,000 (₹1.66 crore).
