The State Highway Authority of Jharkhand invited a tender for the construction of an elevated road and flyover at Argora Chowk in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The proposed infrastructure project will extend from Harmu near KAVs Restaurant to Dibdih Bridge near Sailors Knot Restaurant, with additional legs towards Kathal More, Chaputoli and Ashok Nagar near Road No. 3, including service road development.
The project aims to improve traffic movement and strengthen urban connectivity across important road corridors in Ranchi. The construction of an elevated road and flyover is expected to provide better access to key locations, reduce traffic congestion and improve the overall commuting experience for residents and road users. The inclusion of service roads will further support local traffic movement and accessibility.
The financial bid for this project was opened on 9th September 2026 by the State Highway Authority of Jharkhand. Following the financial bidding process, Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd. emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for executing the proposed elevated road and flyover construction work.
The minimum quoted project value stands at Rs. 2,607,900,000, which is approximately Rs. 260.79 crore. This major infrastructure investment is expected to contribute to the development of Ranchi’s urban transportation network. Upon completion, the project will improve road connectivity, facilitate smoother traffic flow and provide enhanced transportation facilities across the Argora Chowk-Dibdih Bridge corridor.
