The Road Construction Department Jharkhand under Engineer in Chief RCD Jharkhand and RCD Chief Engineer Communication invited a tender for the Kumharia More to Sangrampur Road Reconstruction Project. The project involves the re-construction work, including bridge construction, of Kumharia More (on Mesra–Pithoriya Road) to Sangrampur Road (on Karamtoli–Ormanjhi Road) with a total length of 6.333 km for the year 2025–26.
The scope of work includes reconstruction of the existing road, construction of bridge structures, improvement of pavement quality, drainage arrangements, and other allied civil works. The project is aimed at improving connectivity, ensuring safer transportation, and strengthening road infrastructure in the region.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 8 May 2026 by the RCD authorities. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Dilip Kumar emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 181,875,305.3, reflecting a significant investment in road and bridge infrastructure development. Upon completion, the project will enhance connectivity between important road corridors and improve travel facilities for commuters.
