The Public Works Region-Pune, through the Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (North) Division-Pune, has invited a tender for the improvement of Daryaaghat-Apatale-Junnar Road (MDR-3), from Km 21/00 to 24/000, in Junnar Taluka, Pune district, Maharashtra. The work includes the Junnar Chowk to Nirgude Phata section.
The project also includes the improvement of Borghar-Tambe-Belsar to Nirgude Phata Road (MDR-63), from Km 19/000 to 21/200, along with two other associated road works. These improvements are aimed at strengthening road infrastructure and enhancing connectivity across Junnar and surrounding areas of Pune district.
The financial bid for the project was opened on 14th August 2026 by the Public Works Region-Pune, Public Works Circle-Pune and Public Works (North) Division-Pune. Dhaneshwar Construction Pvt. Ltd. quoted the minimum value for the project and emerged as the minimum-value bidder.
The total value of the project is Rs. 254,154,447.8, equivalent to approximately Rs. 25.42 crore. The proposed road improvement works are expected to improve transportation, strengthen connectivity and provide better road infrastructure for commuters and local communities in the project area.
