D S Halkude Got A Project: Construction of New Court Building Basement.

The Public Works Department Maharashtra under Public Works Region Pune, Public Works Circle Solapur, and Public Works Division Solapur invited a tender for the New Court Building Akkalkot. The project involves the construction of a modern court complex at Akkalkot in Solapur district, aimed at strengthening judicial infrastructure in the region.
The proposed court building will consist of a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors, accommodating a total of four court halls along with administrative offices and support facilities. The design will ensure efficient space utilization and smooth functioning of court proceedings. The project will also include essential infrastructure such as electrical systems, water supply, sanitation, and other amenities required for judicial operations.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 13 February 2026 by the Public Works Department through its Pune Region, Solapur Circle, and Solapur Division. Following the evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, D S Halkude emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for executing the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 402,340,659.6, indicating a significant investment in judicial infrastructure development in Maharashtra. Once completed, the new court building at Akkalkot will improve judicial efficiency, provide better facilities for legal proceedings, and enhance public access to justice in Solapur district.
