The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the Rewa CE Rewa Zone PWD invited a tender for the Chitrangi to Uttar Pradesh Border Road Construction Project. The project involves the construction of the MDR-12-02 Chitrangi–Chitawal–Tamai–Jharkata–Barwadih (Ghorawal) Uttar Pradesh Border Road, covering a total length of 45.20 km, including utility shifting work under Sub-Division Chitrangi.
The scope of work includes construction and strengthening of the road corridor, utility shifting, pavement development, drainage infrastructure, road safety measures, and other allied civil works. The project is aimed at improving inter-state connectivity between Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, facilitating smoother transportation, and supporting regional economic development.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 23 May 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Rewa Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Atul Kurariya Private Limited emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 879,305,274.7, reflecting a substantial investment in road infrastructure development. Upon completion, the project will improve travel efficiency, enhance connectivity with the Uttar Pradesh border, and contribute to the socio-economic growth of the region.
