The E-IN-C Branch, Military Engineer Services (MES), through CE SWC and CE (AF) Gandhinagar, has invited a tender for comprehensive resurfacing works at Air Force Station Jodhpur. This project focuses on upgrading critical pavements and operational surfaces that support daily airfield activities. As one of the key airbases in Western Air Command, AF Station Jodhpur requires high-quality, durable surfacing to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations for military aircraft.
The scope of work includes resurfacing of runways, taxi tracks, dispersal areas and other operational zones within the airbase. These tasks aim to enhance structural strength, improve friction levels and maintain compliance with aviation safety standards. The project also includes repairing damaged portions, upgrading existing layers and ensuring smooth transitions across various airfield surfaces to support heavy aircraft movement.
In addition to resurfacing, the work will focus on ensuring long-term sustainability of the airfield by using high-grade materials and modern construction techniques. The project is designed to minimise operational disruptions, strengthen flight safety and enhance the overall efficiency of airfield operations. Given the strategic importance of AF Station Jodhpur, this upgrade will play a crucial role in supporting future mission readiness.
The financial bid opened on 20 October 2025, with Brahma Infra quoting the minimum value. The total project cost is ₹833,19,13,58.5.
