The National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL), through its Corporate Office in New Delhi, has invited a tender for essential highway maintenance in the northeastern state of Tripura. The tender is specifically for Special Repair under a Short Term Maintenance Contract (STMC-08). The work covers select portions of the Churaibari to Panitilla section, under chainage Ch. 287+000 to 288+000 and 292+000 to 318+000.
This initiative is planned for execution in the financial year 2025–26. The contract follows a dual-mode approach: percentage basis and work order basis, allowing flexibility in task execution while adhering to quality and cost benchmarks.

The financial bid for this tender was officially opened on 16th June 2025 at NHIDCL’s Corporate Office. The bid evaluation process was conducted as per standard procurement norms.
