Bharti Construction Company Got A Project: Construction of Two Lane to Four Lane Road with paved shoulder from Mangalwar

The Rajasthan State Road Development & Construction Corporation (RSRDCC), under the General Manager’s office, has invited a tender for a significant road infrastructure project in District Chittorgarh. The project involves the construction and upgradation of an existing two-lane road to a four-lane highway with paved shoulders, covering a stretch from Mangalwar (Km 0/00) to Nimbahera Junction (Km 37/225) on NH-56. The road falls under the Major District Road (MDR-11A) category and spans a total length of 37.225 kilometers.
This infrastructure enhancement project is to be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) mode, ensuring streamlined management and timely delivery. The widened and upgraded road will greatly improve traffic flow, road safety, and connectivity, especially for industrial and commercial transport in the Chittorgarh-Nimbahera region—an important zone for limestone and cement industries.
The financial bid was opened on April 30, 2025, and saw participation from several reputed contractors. Bharti Construction Company emerged as the lowest bidder, making it the most likely candidate to take on the project. The project carries an estimated value of Rs. 1530407111, reflecting its extensive scope and regional development importance.
Once completed, this road expansion is expected to boost local infrastructure, enhance economic activity, and improve accessibility across southern Rajasthan, especially between Mangalwar and the NH-56 corridor at Nimbahera.
