Public Works Region – Nashik, under the Public Works Circle and Public Works North Division, invited a tender for the improvement of the four-lane road from Janori–Ozar International Airport to NH-60. The project covers two important stretches: MDR-50 from Km 13/00 to 14/00 and SH-37 from Km 133/700 to 137/700, located in Taluka Dindori, District Nashik. This initiative is intended to enhance regional connectivity around Nashik’s key transport and airport zone.
The proposed road improvement focuses on strengthening traffic capacity and ensuring smoother movement between Ozar Airport and major state and national highways. With increasing traffic volume in the region, especially due to industrial and aviation activities, the upgraded four-lane corridor will support faster transit, reduce bottlenecks, and improve safety for daily commuters and logistics operators.
The tender’s financial bid was officially opened on 14th October 2025 by Public Works Region – Nashik authorities. Multiple bidders participated, ensuring transparency and competitive pricing. B R Bhadane Buildcon LLP emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder, offering the minimum quote required to carry out the improvement works as per departmental standards.
The total project value is Rs. 34,20,00,000, representing a significant investment in Nashik’s transport infrastructure. Once completed, the upgraded four-lane stretch will boost connectivity to Ozar International Airport, support economic activities, and improve mobility within Dindori Taluka and surrounding regions.
