B.P. Construction Got A Project: Widening and Strengthening work at Delhi Kanpur Road OLD NH-91

The Chief Engineer, Meerut Zone, PWD Meerut, along with the Superintending Engineer (SE) Bulandshahar PWD Bulandshahar and Executive Engineer (EE) Provincial Division PWD Gautam Buddh Nagar, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening work on Delhi–Kanpur Road, Old NH-91 (ODR) in Gautam Buddh Nagar district. This project is a key step in enhancing the capacity and durability of an important roadway that connects regional traffic with major national routes.
The proposed widening and strengthening works are expected to ease congestion, improve safety, and provide a smoother travel experience for commuters and heavy vehicles alike. With Gautam Buddh Nagar being a rapidly developing district, such upgrades will support regional economic growth by ensuring reliable connectivity to Delhi and Kanpur.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 3rd July 2025 by officials of the PWD Meerut Zone. The bidding process followed competitive and transparent norms to identify the most suitable contractor for this significant project.
B.P. Construction emerged as the lowest bidder for the contract. Their proposal was evaluated as technically sound and cost-effective, aligning with the department’s project requirements.
The total value of the project, as quoted by B.P. Construction, is ₹23,01,39,243.5, reflecting a major investment in strengthening regional road infrastructure.
