The Public Works Department (PWD) – Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), under the administrative control of ACE–Udaipur-I, has invited a tender for the construction of a road connecting Palcha, Semliya, Manakpura, Sankalkhera, Gadwara (Raja Ba), Junagadwara, Ghatiyawali Khera, and Netawalgarh Pachhli in District Chittorgarh. This project aims to strengthen rural road connectivity and improve access across multiple habitations in the district.
The proposed road corridor will play an important role in facilitating smooth movement for local residents, farmers, and transport operators. Improved road infrastructure will enhance access to markets, healthcare, and educational facilities, while also supporting the transportation of agricultural produce. The project is expected to reduce travel time, improve safety, and ensure better year-round connectivity for the surrounding villages.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 27th October 2025 by PWD – CE & AS under the supervision of ACE–Udaipur-I. After evaluation of bids, Amol Agarwal emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the work. The tendering process was conducted in accordance with prescribed procurement procedures to ensure transparency and fair competition.
The total project cost is Rs. 225,539,798.1, reflecting a significant investment in strengthening the rural road network of Chittorgarh district. Upon completion, the project is expected to enhance regional connectivity, improve transportation efficiency, and contribute to long-term socio-economic development in the area.
