Amit Constructions Got A Project: Widening and Strengthening work of SH-37A Gurjar Thadi to Rindliya Rampura

The Public Works Department (PWD) – Chief Engineer & Additional Secretary (CE & AS), in coordination with ACE–Ajmer, SE–Tonk, and EE–Tonk, has invited a tender for the widening and strengthening of State Highway-37A from Gurjar Thadi to Rindliya Rampura and Pandraheda via Baori Road in Tonk district. This project aims to upgrade an important state highway corridor that connects multiple rural and semi-urban settlements.
The proposed works will enhance the structural strength and carriageway width of SH-37A, ensuring smoother and safer vehicular movement. The corridor plays a key role in facilitating daily commuting, agricultural transport, and regional connectivity within Tonk district. Upgradation of this stretch is expected to reduce travel time, improve riding comfort, and support balanced regional development.
The financial bid for the tender was opened on 31st October 2025 by PWD – CE & AS under the administrative supervision of ACE–Ajmer, SE–Tonk, and EE–Tonk. Following evaluation of bids, Amit Constructions emerged as the lowest bidder, quoting the minimum value for execution of the project. The tendering process was conducted in accordance with standard procurement procedures to ensure transparency and fairness.
The total project cost is Rs. 341,804,775.5, representing a significant investment in strengthening Tonk district’s road infrastructure. Upon completion, the improved SH-37A corridor is expected to enhance inter-village connectivity, boost economic activity, and provide safer and more efficient transportation facilities.
