The Public Works Department Madhya Pradesh under the Bhopal CE Bridge Zone PWD invited a tender for the Amla Nagpur Section Railway Over Bridge Project. The project involves the construction of a Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Railway Crossing No. 269 located at Km 937/28–30 on the Amla–Nagpur railway section along Amravati Road in Pandhurna district, Madhya Pradesh.
The scope of work includes construction of the railway over bridge, approach roads, structural components, safety features, drainage arrangements, and other allied civil works. The project is intended to eliminate delays at the level crossing, improve traffic flow, enhance road safety, and provide uninterrupted connectivity for commuters and freight movement.
As per the tender details, the financial bid was opened on 13 May 2026 by the PWD authorities under the Bhopal Bridge Zone. After evaluation of bids submitted by participating contractors, Raisingh and Company emerged as the bidder quoting the minimum value for execution of the project.
The total project value stands at Rs. 286,148,823.6, reflecting a significant investment in transport infrastructure. Upon completion, the Railway Over Bridge will reduce traffic congestion, improve road safety, and strengthen connectivity in Pandhurna district.
