PWD – Roads and Bridges, under the Ujjain CE Ujjain Zone, invited a tender for the Construction of the Neemuch–Cheetakheda–Jeeran–Malhargarh Two-Lane Road. The project covers a substantial 36.65 km stretch and includes full electrification work, aimed at improving mobility and connectivity across key locations in the Neemuch Division. This initiative is part of the department’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh.
The construction of this two-lane road is expected to greatly enhance transportation efficiency, reducing travel time and supporting smoother movement of vehicles across the Neemuch–Malhargarh corridor. Electrification work along the entire length will improve safety, night visibility, and overall driving conditions. The upgraded route will also benefit local communities by supporting trade, agricultural transport, and district-level connectivity.
The tender’s financial bid was officially opened on 14th October 2025 by PWD – Roads and Bridges, Ujjain CE Ujjain Zone. Multiple firms participated, ensuring transparent competition. Heera Ram Godara emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder, securing the contract to execute construction and electrification as per the prescribed standards of the department.
The total project value has been finalized at Rs. 550,756,109.7, marking a major investment toward regional development within the Neemuch Division. Upon completion, the strengthened two-lane road will significantly improve commuter experience and boost socio-economic activities in the surrounding regions.
