The Public Works Department – Roads and Bridges, under Jabalpur CE Central Zone (PWD), has invited a tender for the Upgradation of the Kalpi–Chhindgaon–Pipariya Road. The project covers a total length of 31.30 km and includes comprehensive improvement work along with electrification, making it a major infrastructure initiative intended to enhance regional road standards and safety.
This tender has been issued as the 1st Call and focuses on strengthening the existing route, ensuring smoother vehicular movement, and improving roadside amenities with upgraded lighting systems. The project is expected to significantly benefit local commuters and improve connectivity between Kalpi, Chhindgaon, and Pipariya.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 29th October 2025 by PWD – Roads and Bridges, Jabalpur CE Central Zone. Among the participating bidders, M/s Ramprasad Rathore Contractor and Suppliers, Machalpur quoted the minimum value for project execution.
The total estimated value of the project is Rs. 444,452,821.6, marking it as a substantial investment toward road modernization in the region. Upon completion, the upgraded corridor is expected to support safer, faster, and more reliable transportation.
