The Public Works Department (PWD) – CE and AS, in association with ACE Jaipur II, SE Rural Jaipur, and EE Bassi, has invited a tender for the strengthening of the Dausa to Kuchaman road via Lawan, Tunga, Chaksu, Phagi, Dudu, and Sambhar on State Highway-02. The project covers critical stretches from Km 93/300 to 96/0, Km 100/0 (101/0) to 102/0, Km 106/0 to 109/0, and Km 130/0 to 133/025, focusing on enhancing the structural strength, safety, and longevity of this major highway route.
This strengthening initiative is vital for improving road performance, ensuring smoother vehicular movement, and boosting inter-district trade and connectivity between eastern and western Rajasthan. The upgraded segments will significantly reduce travel time and provide better access for transport, logistics, and commuters.
The financial bid for this tender was opened on 15th September 2025 by PWD – CE and AS, with the lowest bid submitted by M/s Dharam Chand Jain. The total project cost is ₹237,059,681 (₹23.70 crore).
