Vijay Constructions Got A Project: SURFACING WORKS OF GSB 15 CM THICK, WBM 75 MM THICK, DBM 50 MM THICK

The Directorate General Border Roads Organisation (BRO), through HQ CE (P) Hirak, Champawat, has invited a tender for critical surfacing works on the Kondapalli–Dharmavaram Road. The project involves the execution of high-standard pavement layers as per MoRTH specifications, covering Granular Sub Base (GSB) 15 cm thick, Water Bound Macadam (WBM) 75 mm thick, Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM) 50 mm thick, and Bituminous Concrete (BC) 40 mm thick, along with the application of tack coat and prime coat. The work is designed for the stretch from km 0.000 to km 20.000, ensuring smooth, durable, and reliable road connectivity in this strategically important region.
The financial bid for this project was officially opened on 12th August 2025 under the supervision of BRO authorities at HQ CE (P) Hirak, Champawat. Among the bids received, Vijay Constructions emerged as the lowest bidder, positioning itself to undertake the assignment. Their selection indicates both competitive pricing and technical competence to deliver large-scale, specification-driven road works in challenging terrains.
The sanctioned project value is ₹261,864,423.5 (approximately ₹26.18 crore), reflecting the government’s consistent investment in strengthening border connectivity and enhancing mobility infrastructure to support both civilian movement and strategic defence requirements.
