The Public Works Region – Nashik, under the Public Works Circle, Nashik and Public Works North Division, Nashik, invited a tender for the improvement of a four-lane road from Janori Ozar International Airport to NH-60 Road. The project covers important stretches along MDR-50 from Km 13/00 to 14/00 and SH-37 from Km 133/700 to 137/700 in Taluka Dondori, District Nashik.
This project has been designed to provide seamless connectivity between the Ozar International Airport and the NH-60 highway, strengthening Nashik’s road infrastructure. The upgraded route is expected to ease traffic congestion, improve logistics, and support regional development by facilitating smoother movement of goods and passengers.
The scope of work includes widening, strengthening, and improvement of the four-lane corridor, ensuring better road geometry, higher load capacity, and enhanced safety standards. These improvements will also accommodate increasing traffic demands in and around Nashik.
The tender financial bid was opened on 14th August 2025, and after evaluation of bids, B R Bhadane Buildcon LLP emerged as the lowest bidder for the project.
The total value of the project stands at ₹34,20,00,000, highlighting a significant investment in strengthening transport infrastructure in Nashik district.
