The Public Works Department (PWD), under CE and AS||ACE – Bikaner||SE – Churu||EE – Churu, has invited a tender for a key road infrastructure project in Churu district, Rajasthan. The project focuses on the widening and strengthening of the NH-11 to NH-911 connecting route (Bap–Bikampur Road) via Mandal Charnan, Gadiyala, Girajsar, Nagrasar, and Sevda. The work spans Km 0.0 to Km 61.800 along Major District Road 365 (MDR-365).
This initiative aims to transform a critical regional corridor into a high-quality, durable road that enhances mobility and reduces transportation costs. The upgraded road will significantly improve connectivity between key highways (NH-11 and NH-911) while supporting the movement of agricultural and commercial traffic across rural areas. It also includes road surface improvements, shoulder enhancements, and safety installations to meet modern infrastructure standards.
The financial bid for the project was opened on April 16, 2025, with multiple contractors in contention. Heera Ram Godara submitted the lowest financial bid, positioning him as the frontrunner for the contract. The project is valued at Rs. 46,39,75,407, highlighting its extensive scope and regional importance.
Once executed, the improved MDR-365 will serve as a strategic development corridor in western Rajasthan, contributing to economic activity, regional trade, and rural accessibility across the Churu division.
